Milan–Cortina 2026 Olympics
In view of the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, in addition to the 21 essential works for the sporting activities, the Lombardy Region has planned to invest significant resources in hotel accommodation.
Regional Resolution 11/2786 of January 31, 2020, for the support of the competitiveness of hotel accommodation facilities and non-hotel outdoor accommodation facilities, aims to improve the accommodation offer in order to make our region increasingly attractive and welcoming.
This measure, aimed at micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, is intended to promote the construction and redevelopment of hotel accommodation facilities (hotels, tourist residences, scattered hotels, and condhotels).
It consists of the allocation of €17 million to finance, with a 50% non-repayable grant, projects with a minimum investment of €80,000, with the possibility of receiving a maximum contribution of up to €200,000.
